Our drop camp hunts are for the hunters that are more the do-it-yourself type. You will be packed into your hunting area using horses and mules. Your packer will orientate you to the hunting area.
Camp accommodations are wall tents, cots with foam pads, wood burning stove, Coleman cook stove and lantern. Pots, pans, dishes, utensils and tables are also provided. The hunters are responsible to provide their own food. A saw will be left for the hunters to cut their own wood for the wood heating stove.
Horses and mules will not be left in camp for the hunters use. Circle KBL staff will pack out any game that has been harvested. We strongly suggest that drop camp hunters rent a satellite phone for safety and to communicate with Circle KBL staff. Cost is about $6 bucks a day.
