Idaho Elk Hunts

These hunts are very remote and in a designated Wilderness Area (Selway Wilderness Area Unit 17). Our Idaho pack-in hunts are classified into two seasons; September 15th-30th  and October 1st-15th.

The bugle rifle hunts have limited numbers of allocated tags. Both seasons are on a first come first serve bases. You will want to book this hunt early to secure your spot in camp.

All our Idaho elk hunts are pack-in hunts.  On these hunts we stay in comfortable wall tents.  Some camps may have horses available to the hunters and others may not, depending on the hunt.

Both of these seasons are Bugle Rut Rifle hunts

We do offer Drop Camp Hunts for the hunters that are more the Do-it Yourself type.

Idaho is one of the very few areas left in the U.S. that offer a RIFLE hunter the opportunity of close encounters with bugling bulls.  This is our most physically demanding hunt.

We have a 250 pound weight limit for all horse back hunts.
